Youth Academy

2020-2021 Leadership Wheeler Youth Academy graduates
with Chatham County Commissioner Larry “Gator” Williams,
a former Harlem Globe Trotter.

The Leadership Wheeler Youth Academy is for high school juniors and seniors.  The program is designed to develop leadership potential and to acquaint participants with community needs and resources through interaction with community leaders and decision-makers.

Applications are available through the Wheeler County High School counselor at the end of each school year.  A selection committee will review all applications and will select participants.

The length of the program is from October through April with Graduation in April.
